1) Open a separate bank account for your Avon business.
2) Do not spend your Avon money until you have paid Avon the balance due each campaign. (Note: Each campaign you pay Avon their portion, ALL THE $$$MONEY$$$ LEFT OVER after you collect from your customers is YOUR PROFIT! When you increase your customer base, you will INCREASE YOUR PROFITS!! YOUR EFFORTS=MORE MONEY FOR YOU!!
3) Definitely become an e-Rep with AVON as this is ABSOLUTELY FREE!! You will automatically sign up for a FREE website when you register online at youravon.com by clicking YES when asked. After you say YES to becoming an E-Rep and having a Website, you will AUTOMATICALLY have a website with AVON and FOR FREE!! Usually the address to your website is: www.youravon.com/yourname (example: www.youravon.com/janedoe , sometimes it will have #s as well. When you register and click yes to become an e-Rep you will be told what your website address is immediately, and your website will be set up on the spot. Tell all your friends and out of town relatives to go to the website address to SHOP....AND YOU GET THE CREDIT and PROFITS!! Free Shipping with $40 or more orders. Tell your customers to choose "direct delivery" and use their credit card, and products will be delivered in 4-7 business days to their address. 4) Utilize social media (such as facebook, twitter, Pinterest and even You Tube) to promote and grow a profitable AVON business! These are awesome tools to use, and lots of FUN too!! Also, remember that some people prefer texting to calling and is another great way to generate and receive AVON orders. E-mailing is also essential to use in your AVON networking and growing a successful business. I like to ask my customers "what is your best form of communication....texting, E-mailing, phone calls"? This makes contacting and communicating so much easier, which means your business will run smoother!! Use your creativity and HAVE FUN!!
5) Get a zipper pencil bag and keep your Avon money in there. Do not mix your Avon money with your personal money.
6) Never give products to customers without them paying you first for their items.
7) Don’t let customers put you off for the payment. Tell them when they have their money to call you and you will reorder for them. Get their money upfront before reordering.
8) Try to sell their items to other customers. If you can’t, use "Process Returns" @ www.youravon.com.  Call Internet Help line if you need assistance @ 1-513-551-2233, listen to prompts and press 1.
9) Do not accept checks from customers you do not know well, or out of town checks.
10) Do not accept credit cards without seeing the card and calling for the approval code. Do not give the products to the customer until you have acquired the approval code. You can also look into getting an app called "square" and take credit card payments. It is very reasonable (a very small percentage), and the money goes directly into your bank account immediately with the "square". You can google this if interested. I use the square and love it!
11) A 50% deposit on all orders is strongly recommended. Keep your deposit money separate from your personal money.
12) The easiest way to pay Avon each campaign is with your debit card or credit card.                    Call 1-513-551-2866 and listen to the prompts, or you can go to www.youravon.com and pay online. Make sure you pay the correct amount. The amount owed is in the “amount now due” box on the payment stub of your invoice. Remember, you pay AVON their portion, AND ALL THE MONEY LEFT OVER IS YOUR PROFIT!!!! YOU PAY YOURSELF EVERY 2 WEEKS!!!
13) HAPPY EARNINGS…..With good money management you will ALWAYS have extra money for the things you need and want! AND....lots of extra AVON for yourself, for gifts, etc. Fun!Fun!
